Location is all relative to what you’re trying to achieve.

For me, HCR is fantastic on rooms and service, but that location is god-awful. Unless you want to navigate smartphone-glued tourists.

The Rosewood, counter to that, is a middling property in a very good location. The Pie Room is very nice though and the Holborn Dining Room is a must on Wellington Wednesdays.
