Yes, one phone call to the HON hotline. The flights was F7A0 at the time of the request and went to F6A0 after the upgrade cleared.
On a side note, LX92 is F8A5 or F8A4 or F7A6 for the entire week when I plan to travel. I made 7 separate bookings (each in D containing LX92) and all requests for upgrade using eV went to waitlist, so I cancelled each booking and booked with LH. Not ideal, but two of my most recent LH F were quite good (plus, something needs to be some with those 10+ eV before they turn into ash).
