Based on the photos you submitted (or in your file), the damage to your luggage appears to be the result of normal wear and tear from ordinary handling. Sometimes damage similar to what you reported occurs as luggage goes through belt systems that may cause mishaps to protruding parts such as (damaged item; i.e. zipper pulls, wheels, handles).
