Based on reading the recent posts in the Conrad Bora Bora thread which also has a similar 30 day rule ; it would be advisable to contact the hotel directly to find out exactly.
A poster had a similar question there and was told by Hilton on the phone that there would be in fact no monetary penalty but all of their points for the entire reward stay would be forfeited.
Yet they pursued the matter further and contacted the hotel directly and the hotel advised in this situation they only charge the first night's worth of points (120,000 points) and nothing more.

Maldives Conrad may differ and above experience could even differ I imagine as there is no clear written policy for reward stays.
