if you see saver and advantage waitlist, that mean the flight is already quite full and SQ have already allow the maximum number of redemption seats.
so unless someone cancel their booking, then you might get a chance but SQ might not release back as award seat. They might sell it for cash instead.
I was able to find the same routing and the same days now reserved albeit SIN-IAH, under a different hold(this status shows reserved) it’s same flights without the first leg. I.e. HYD-SIN. Is it advisable to book it without having to wait ?
interesting fact is even HYD-SIN looks available and not on a waitlist if I am willing to book it as separate itinerary. Here’s where I am now.
HYD-SIN-(MAN)-IAH 136500points waitlist
SIN-(MAN)-IAH 115000points reserved
HYD-SIN 43000points available(not blocked) without waitlist
can i try block the HYD-SIN and ask customer care to price it out and see if this can be ticketed in one itinerary? This usually works for me with AA.
