We're not booking awards seats but using the cash + avios option Qatar. If we linked at QR account with my husbands BAEC, should we be able to use the full amount of avios for both of us?

Secondly - if they wouldnt let us delink the accounts because we've used avios via QR - would they accept seat selection based on the oneworld status over the phone?
