Probably varies as much as fares vary. AA loads schedules overnight between Saturday and Sunday (thoigh not necessarily every week) and sometimes checking on Sunday can have different results (sometimes for the better, other times for the worse).

Re: earlier comments, one of the worst aspects of the AA forums (if not flyertalk as a whole) is the common case of people who often misinterpret what’s posted, often probably to the point of intentionally looking for ways to misconstrue what’s been written so they can claim someone is in the wrong and correct them. It could be a case of poor reading comprehension, but it’s probably from people liking to be argumentative or wanting to appear more knowledgeable than someone else. It’s annoying and I ignore those people rather than waste time to counter/correct them.
