Decided to give it a try (not as my primary roaming option) on a recent trip. It was not smooth. Connection issues and APN tweaks don't resolve. After a couple of hours here and there, I lost interest in making it work. Not ready for showtime.

Customer service tries to help, but wasn't effective. In any case, that is not how roaming is supposed to be; if you need to make it work first using another connection, then what's the point? Can you land and check your connecting gate information? Not yet.
