Was in the FRA MLL yesterday from around 15:30 to catch my AC843 flight leaving at 17:10. Very few people in the lounge and the most miserly food selection I have ever come across in an international lounge. My past experience at this lounge has always been positive.

At around 16:00 they came on the PA system to announce that the lounge would be closing at 16:30 (40 minutes prior to scheduled departure - really???) Then at 16:17 the lounge attendant came by to tell me the lounge was closing in a way that did not sound like a 15-minute warning. When I mentioned to her that they had announced that the lounge would be closing at 4:30 she said "well the cleaners need time to clean up". So off I went to sit on the aircraft for 50 minutes prior to departure.

If this is the new normal for this lounge, I guess I'll be off to the Senator Lounge next time.
