Any way to get Apple Pay/Google Pay to work on those "big" touchscreen Wayne gas pumps? Have a Chevron with those pumps that finally turned on Contactless.

Cannot get them to take a phone payment on the pump. It doesn't get a proper tap (only two lights light up and it doesn't make the proper beep) keeps saying card moved too fast then declines transaction. If I use a physical card it works fine IF I use it as credit. I tried to press debit (have to do that at Chevron to get Debit otherwise it automatically goes as credit) and use the physical card and that one tapped properly with all green lights lighting up and the proper beep then said declined (never got to a PIN entry screen even). Found another Chevron with Wayne pumps and not the big screens and the usual little black rectangle for tap that those pumps have and no issue with Apple Pay/Google Pay on those pumps at all. Both sites on Verifone POS.

At another Chevron with Gilbarco pumps/Gilbarco cash register the phone, pressing debit first, or physical card all tap at the pump without issue.
