I'm planning to rent a car in Phuket Island and there are several international brands at the airport (HKT). I usually rent Avis and have loyalty status with them. However, it looks like the rental price on avis.com is unusually high. I then came across avisthailand.com and noticed for the exact same car and days, the quote on avisthailand.com is almost half of that on avis.com (US), which is tempting to me. I'm wondering if anyone has used avisthailand.com before and can share your experience.

I'm a President's Club member and how would the benefits vary according to the booking site. On avisthailand.com, it looks like there's no option to enter my Wizard number. Also, it looks like the PC benefits such as guaranteed car availability, upgrade don't apply to Thailand anyway, so does it matter where I book my car?
