That makes no sense at all, also, how would they charge his card, but then move the charges to your folio? Wouldn’t they charge the card of whoever’s folio it is thus leading to OP being charged.
To me it seems the only logical way to accomplish this would be to have the friend charge everything to OP’s room, and later have the friend Zelle, or Venmo the total amount to OP.
But that’s just what I see.
I've actually done that before a few times. As long as they're getting paid in full, I don't think they really care what room the charges go to. In fact, this might be a way around the limit of getting points for three rooms concurrently.
