It's hard to believe EWR could be worse for food.
Agree that Polaris SFO saving grace is it's generally a nice place to lounge (so long as you stay away from the area near the bar).
The fact that your coffee choices are hours-old lukewarm from an urn or wait for the bartender to make you an espresso is indicative of how much UA cares about F&B here.
