Not sure about your questions, but make sure you download the "More Cravings" app. This gives you some real good discounts at the restaurants in the various Marriott properties in Dubai. I got 25% of food and drink at Rang Mahal last time. Was the same at Tong Thai I believe.
Also got 2-4-1 on the W Brunch in Doha - which was fantastic!
