MIA LHR but again, there wasn't a single bump during the last 2 hours of the flight and most passengers didn't appreciate that the cabin crew didn't make an effort to serve a beverage, i.e., not even handing out extra bottles of water, prior to arrival (in any class). I guess I shouldn't be surprised... I saw half of them boarding with "ready to strike" ribbons on their luggage.

I don't know the specifics of why your crew didn't serve breakfast; however, LHR-MAD is a much shorter flight so perhaps the crew was worried they would either hurt themselves or not have enough time to serve everyone, although technically the latter may not be the case since both BA and IB on such route only serve a meal in J whilst Y doesn't even get water for free and often, you see the Y crew helping in J since they don't have anything else to do. Perhaps given your mention of two meals you meant MAD-MIA?
