Update. When I asked for the card in late September it was supposed to be FYF (that offer lasted for a very few days). As expected I had annual fees credited on my first statement, but later on charged again. I contacted Brim and their first answer was that the promo which I had subscribed to was not FYF. This week came a second answer: though I was not entitled to first year free, I might have been misled so they would credit the FYF to my account. Which has been done.
