Um, if you start watching this video around the 24 minute mark, you will see that the lighting above the screen is relatively normal but then the screen casing is jostled forward during takeoff which is how much of the lighting becomes covered. In fact, it almost falls forward around 24:43. I'm pretty sure that's not the intended effect!
