I’ve cancelled a couple of BA Avios bookings via the website this month, one on BA metal and another on QF - I was charged the cancellation fee of £35pp (except for QF as the taxes were less than the cancellation fee, so I simple foreited the taxes). Last year, I was only charged 50p per passenger per one way, and £1 per return. So they seem to have fixed the IT recently.
