How many C+ rows were there? Perhaps you're thinking of the 73R, which has 12 FC, 24 C+, and no bulkhead between FC and C+?

That configuration I wouldn't complain much about. The biggest problem with 73J is a total of 18 upgraded seats out of 180 total. The 73R has 36 upgraded seats out of 173 total.
