Been staying here a lot since opening, they’ve worked out many of the kinks and growing pains so far. IMO the reasonable cash rates (almost) made up for the non-existent lounge. The Hyatt Regency brand is notorious for closing club lounges (except for Asia) post-COVID anyway.
There’re some corners being cut along the way. Globalist snacks and cocktails used to be all-day and a few breakfast items have disappeared with time. Also the lifts don’t seem to be key-encrypted.
I would far rather have actual cocktails and fresh appetizer-quality burrata than anything that would be served within a Western lounge. Plus, the restaurant breakfast is definitely better than what would be served within a lounge.
