I have just had a delayed (and ultimately lost) luggage episode with OS: 2 passengers, VIE-NCE in paid Business Class for a trade show.
Had to buy necessities and clothes upon landing and subsequently even more clothes (shirts, jacket). We spent 2k€ to be be equipped for 3 days.
Sent them all receipts, OS said they imburse 100€ per person because “we are obliged not to spend excessively” and they generously rounded it up to a grand total of €300 for the both of us.
When I called them out on it, they just responded that they consider the case closed and wouldn’t reply any longer
Now that the luggage is officially lost - after 6 weeks and countless emails, receipts, packing lists, phone calls - they are paying the maximum compensation - around 1600€ per person, but they are deducting the already paid reimbursement for expenses.
