When I compare Flying Blue Platinum to EuroBonus Diamond level, it really a semi joke. Eurobonus Diamond are treated serval levels better. Free changing of flights no matter booking class on same day; courtesy upgrades on long haul flights, gifting away gold cards and free service charge for booking award tickets on the phone; are just some of the benefits we don’t have on Flying blue.
Maybe:
  • Flexibility for changing flights without a fee (only fare difference + free change on the day of the flight if there is availability);
  • Better offers for paid upgrades intra-Europe (it doesn’t make sense to ask for 150-200€ on a 2h flight when the Plat already has all the benefits minus the empty middle seat and meal);
  • 1 longhaul upgrade voucher per year (and an increase of +1 for Ultimate to compensate);
  • A system which would give extra benefits for more XP over 300 (eg. for each additional 100/150 XP), such as the upgrade vouchers;
