(of course I dont fly directly to AMS, there is always 1 or 2 european stops within europe muc, fra , zrh before reaching my starting point).
AMS-FRA-SIN in A class: 46,500 HON miles. You need on average 300,000 HON miles per year. So 6.5 trips.

AMS-FRA-SIN in First gives now 640 HON QP . You need 6,000 HON QP. So 9.5 trips.

That's 50% more flying to get to and maintain HON.

I fail to see how that is easier.

Remember that old HON qualification was over two years and for two years. Now it's one year for one year. Also: When flying over two years, you can have a year with more flights and one with less. Under the new scheme you lose HON if you don't make your 10 First Class trips.

That should be a deal breaker given that HON doesn't give you anything while in Asia and the only thing you are trying to get out if it is the option to burn miles.

Also: 7,000 EUR times 12 months = 63.000 EUR in additional (!) spend. How many million miles do you want to redeem while you are HON? You will not get any value out of HON that exceeds a couple of thousand EUR at best.

HON needs to be a by-product and cannot be your main objective.
