Not sure where this should go so please move if appropriate.

This morning I was flying TYS-IAD. While waiting for my flight I heard a gate agent for the TYS-IAH announce that due to weight restrictions they needed 9 volunteers to reroute. This for a 145 with 50 seats! The initial offer was $2,000! Had to hold up boarding as they got the final two volunteers. I don't think I have heard such a high initial offer.
