I filed a claim for interruption/cancellation mid-December, after a railroad strike in Germany cancelled my train from Frankfurt to Paris.
After a few back & forth, Chase/Eclaims approved my claim on Jan 22: I got reimbursed for the train ticket and the pre-paid hotel in Paris (1 night).
Did DB not refund your ticket when your train was cancelled?
