Got it , thanks - I've got a few flights in the 90-day-baggage-allowance-on-tickets-not-bought-with-card category, and as I haven't checked in yet, wasnt sure if those ended up being manual credits back or the system recognized as I added bags while checking in.
FYI - this worked flawlessly on 2 flights (separate bookings.. not that it should matter, but one was even with Aeroplan points) last week - just added baggage while checking in, as mentioned in replies to my post... waived, not even charged.
