Casa del Playa is a small (around 60 rooms) adults-only hotel right next to the much bigger Xcaret hotels. It has only suites, which are beautifully designed with their own plunge pool and bathtub on the terrace. Stunning views over the ocean, butler service, amazing food, and a pretty lonely private beach are some of the amazing features.

I also really enjoyed the Chocolate Room, which was open 24/7 and offered different chocolate delights over the course of the day and also the designated Mezcal/Tequila room.
