Without being able to drop my derrière into 1C, my legs must be pulled in and wedged against the back of the seat in front of me for the duration of the flight. No thanks, I have no issue contorting during boarding. Cheers!
I am only 6’ but also will prefer first row in CE or exit rows in ET. Having said that, my favourite seat is 1F and I am sure you would agree that 1a, 1D and 1F are better seats even for you (I do not believe you knees would touch the bulkhead in either of these three seats, so I would expect you to agree about these being superior to 1C). I have tried the angle legs toward 1A before, but then, without having to take uncomfortable postures, my right shoulder/upper body would protrude in the aisle and still getting knocked about.
