If the story is true, then the NTSB and FAA already have all the details. They might want to talk to the person anyway, but all the details are in the Boeing and Spirit production documentation systems - that's where it all came from according to the commenter. But, FWIW, there's certain types of failures at certain companies where I could write you a similar story that wouldn't be far from the truth, even if I didn't have the dates or names correct. Just because I'm familiar with the workflow and failure modes.
The information that would still likely be missing is whether the retaining bolts were reinstalled at all, and if so, were they installed incorrectly and eventually came out. The plane successfully flew a lot of flights since delivery, which suggests that they might have been there and only come out recently.
