Probably kind of a stupid question, but I'll ask anyways. So our current plan was to arrive with Air NZ at around 02:30am in the middle of the night, sleep a bit in the airport motel, then spend one night in the Hilton Tahiti before moving on to 5 nights in the Conrad Bora Bora. All points redemptions.

But now come to think of it, the points difference between the Hilton Tahiti and Conrad Bora Bora is only 40.000 (80k vs 120k) and the CBB is still available for the extra night that we have currently booked at the Hilton Tahiti.

So basically - should I just buy 40k points extra for an extra 6th night at the Conrad Bora Bora straight away, instead of the "buffer night" at the Hilton Tahiti? Even if we are jetlagged the first day, probably that jetlag would still be more bearable at the CBB than at the Hilton Tahiti I guess?
