As I think I mentioned already, there was some confusion with the initial rollout and a lot of F/As were preparing the cabin when the seatbelt sign came on instead of waiting for the announcement. One showed me their bulletin, on the procedure, and it included an "or the seat belt sign comes on for the final time" which made it unclear. That has since been corrected.

Because of that confusion, when I turn on the seat belt sign for the final time, and when I make the announcement, I turn up the PA volume in my headset just a bit so that I can hear what they do, and when. I can hear if they do it too early.
