I understand that gates can always change -- but assuming the same pattern continues -- since these two gates are in the same terminal area, will I have to leave the terminal and recheck in for the Air Canada flight? The flights are booked on separate reservations.
Update -- turns out, upon arrival we were forced to board the terminal train and then follow the signs to connections. That led to a security checkpoint whereby hand luggage was scanned again. I was initially worried about this because I had liquids in excess of 3oz in my carryon. Luckily, they did not ask for liquids to be taken out of luggage -- nor did they care about amounts of liquids. Connection took 15 min.
