Well, I am pleased (and relieved) to share that I have canceled the Rio for my guests on the 10th. I was instead able to secure a room at the Luxor (for 2 nights -- 9th-11th, so that the room will be available when they arrive at 9am on the 10th). Never thought I would be excited to put someone up at the Luxor, but I really do think it's a better option than the Rio right now.
