As per the screenshot below, WA is excluded from the lounge access benefit for Diamonds; any Waldorf that offers a lounge [i.e., this one, Waldorf Astoria Kuwait, Dubai Palm Jumeirah, Doha West Bay, etc.] must have guests stay in rooms/suites that confer access as elite status will not get you into them automatically. As is my knowledge, being upgraded to an executive-level room counts as an upgrade to an enhanced room type, but does not include automatic lounge access.
