Combine those accounts!

Somehow.. I ended up with 2 HH accounts at one time too. I simply called the HH Desk and they were able to combine the accounts.

The reason why you would want to combine the accounts is that your stays and nights all accumulate into one account. Thereby making it easier for you to qualify/requalify for higher tier status. Also, if you have 6,000 points in one account and 6,000 point in another.. you have Nothing. If you had all 12,000 points in 1 account you now have a free nite in an Opportunity, or Cat 1 location.

I have a friend who both he and his wife have a 'family' account. She travels on business as does he. They rack both of their travels into one account. They would've individually only been silvers or maybe one of them a Gold. Doing the 'combined acct' activity, they make Gold easily, and occasionly hit that Diamond level.

I like it that HH does this. Other programs won't.

Sure, you 'could' try doing two accounts in hopes of getting targeted promos.. but.. you would still have a split points problem to deal with. I prefer being recognized as a Diamond. It is much better for my upgrades, plus I get Diamond Desk assistance to bust those "no-stay/out of rooms" times.
