I ended up sorting a local taxi driver via a contact in Belfast. Now arrived in DUB before a rearranged UA flight tomorrow morning.
Have EU261 claims in to both Ryanair and Easyjet for duty of care after the various cancellations - be interesting to compare their responsiveness vs BA (pre GGL at least where some of them took months).
