Currently, health issues mean that I can walk a couple of hundred yards or so before needing a rest.
I could request assistance from BA but that might be wheelchair which is a bit of a hammer to crack a nut. Also, perhaps a bit restrictive (I **can** walk, just not that far...).
But I have seen (and nearly been knocked down by) electric carts whizzing around the airport. Looked at the airport site but couldn't find any info about them.
Would anyone be able to provide any info? How to order them, how much they cost (this being the US, unlikely to be free), can one just flag them down, etc... basically, any help would be most appreciated.
I know this is not at first glance strictly speaking a BA question, but it is prompted by BA flights leaving and arriving from E gates, which are a fair way from the main D drag of shops and food outlets.
Any info would be very welcome.
we are in the same position as we have only 90 minutes to go from G to D and my husband usually asks for a wheelchair. American Airlines has something called 5 star service, but only for business or first class. It’s costly, but does promise you will be met with a cart. I’d like to hear from anyone who has tried this.
