I am confused as to why a company would restrict purchase of gift cards not specific to this poster. I do know that my CC has grocery stores as a 5% quarter once a year. I tend to buy more Amazon gift cards at that time - but there is a $1500 limit on the CC for the 5% reward and I shop at that grocery store so I tend to do maybe 300 or 400 in cards over the quarter so no big red flags there....

Why would Walmart restrict purchases let alone even notice.
