Can someone help me out please. Do GE cards still work at Walmart for MO? If so are their limits?

I used one at WM last night with no issues. Went to same store this morning and tried to split tender to use two.

It got an unable to process and note on screen said “credit converted to debit”. Did I get lucky last night? Or did she do something when she split tender?

I can liquidate one at a time if needed I guess but was surprised by this new issue as I’ve not had problems with everywhere cards at WM in the past.
