Indeed so. Have you noticed that if that were not bad enough everyone holds their phone at arm's length and projects their voices accordingly. Not long ago someone was conducting a conversation with some woman who sounded like a castrated cockatoo = shrill and loud. People objected/ I should add that this was in a Lounge and not aboard.
