I switched to B6 for a while- you get better service, food, hard product vs the 763/76L, and it's cheaper.

HOWEVER, I switched back for two reasons.

1) B6 is unreliable- and when they fail they fail hard. I found myself buying last minute middle seats in coach from UA (two terminals over in LAX behind security) and running more than once. When they are good they are good but when they are bad they are horrible.

2) Dl has made modest improvements. There is usually 1-2x per day on at 764 or 339 (which is a marginally better hard product than B6), more planes with PS (which I find totally adequate for daytime flights, and much cheaper than D1 or Mint), and the catering leaving LAX is back to mostly Jon and Vinny's- which is not amazing, but it's consistent and excellent reheated.

When DL gets Viasat done on the wide bodies I think their relative triumph will be complete. B6 has better wifi than DL wide bodies. If that matters to you...continue B6. That's changing over the course of 2024 is my understanding. I mostly just do email on flights so DL wifi suffices, but if you do a lot of web app work...
