Note that the Karakoram highway (N35) is still flooded for a significant strech starting from Attabad and you have to take a boat on the river instead. In September you have the increased rain and flooding/landslides in that region as the monsoon will not have completely retreated. Perhaps consider an alternative plan of flying from ISL to URC and then to KHG.
