I was looking at flights to the Caribbean in October (for 4 pax) and there was Avios availability to Bahamas (NAS) and Turks and Caicos (PLS) on the dates we were looking for in Club World, which I was pleasantly surprised to see. Not wanting to miss out on the flights I quickly booked the Bahamas flights on Friday evening, however after some researching over the weekend I now think Turks and Caicos may have been better for us ( 2 adults, 2 kids..17yo & 13yo) for a week at the beach / relaxing.
It looks like the flight to Turks and Caicos stops at Bahamas first, so the Avios availability would be the same when searching for either destination and indeed there is no availability to Turks and Caicos now since I booked the LHR- Bahamas leg of that flight.
I was wondering if its possible to call up BA and change the destination to Turks and Caicos or if I cancel the Bahamas flight, will the Avios award seats become available again through to Turks and Caicos?

In the event I can't change and we stick with Bahamas, does anyone have recommendations for good hotels / resorts on the beach or general recommendations for where to stay ?
