It looks like the flight to Turks and Caicos stops at Bahamas first, so the Avios availability would be the same when searching for either destination and indeed there is no availability to Turks and Caicos now since I booked the LHR- Bahamas leg of that flight.
I was wondering if its possible to call up BA and change the destination to Turks and Caicos or if I cancel the Bahamas flight, will the Avios award seats become available again through to Turks and Caicos?
In the event I can't change and we stick with Bahamas, does anyone have recommendations for good hotels / resorts on the beach or general recommendations for where to stay ?
Thanks.
Ring them up and ask. The worst they can say is no, but they should be able to do the magic for you I would hope or send it to the back office.
Don't release the seats and expect them to go back into inventory. They may not go back into inventory at all. You may get lucky, but it would be pretty tense and I wouldn't like telling 3 people I had pooched their sunshine holiday
