There is a central square / garden that the hotel surrounds with a glass enclosed walk way to the restaurant from the reception area. The restaurant is at the "Back" of the hotel. The restaurant also has an entrance at the rear which opens up onto a nice market area. This back entrance is just a few feet from a subway stop and a block from the Airport Express Bus pickup..... Either you can select rooms that view the Garden or view out from the hotel to business district the hotel is in. In February, when I was there neither was particularily impressive.

The breakfast was very extensive. All hot items were available, traditional breakfast items eggs, ham, bacon, sausages, etc., plus cold breakfast cereals. While I was there an attendant was available to prepare hot eggs and pancakes for the guests. One of the better breakfasts that I have had in Germany.

The hotel's breakfast area was full of tour groups, most of the time from Japan. I did not eat dinner or lunch at the hotel so I cannot comment on those menus.
