What value? The Caesars/Wyndham partnership is realistic because it incentivizes both elites to consider each others brands . This partnership adds literally no value for anybody unless you're 1) Using Points to book a Vegas room, 2) You're a Marriott employee or direct family member taking advantage of the MMP rates 3) You're an MGM elite who is going to get some benefits at Marriott hotels not previously available. I dont see any other scenario where there's of any benefit.
Agree that I think it will be interesting to see how the rates show up in Marriott's booking engine - but I have a feeling (based on Cosmo pricing), that other than some basic promotions, MGM will consistently have better rates that defeat any purpose of booking through Marriott. Unless Marriott matches the MGM rates of 15-30% off rack rates, it makes absolutely no sense to even look at Marriott.
