The wife and I are planning on doing a brief three day retreat in Vancouver to visit family in April. I can get similar rates at both the Fairmont Waterfront vs. Fairmont Hotel Vancouver and both should serve our needs for the most part. We are leaning towards a Harbour View Gold at the Waterfront but are still undecided at this point.

I would love some insight into what these properties are like these days. Gold floors? Service? Elite status treatment? I'm 9/10 on upgrades since last summer and I would like to keep that going!
