I've successfully waitlisted for I/IN class on mixed itineraries, but have never waitlisted for I/IN when I'm only booked in X. I understand that if I can find an agent willing to do so, I will be deducted the full I class amount. If the waitlist does not clear, will I be refunded the difference in miles?
Never mind, I should have read the wiki first. Answer is yes I will be refunded, but may need to request it.
