I noted on a Y booking to SIN last month that SkyCouch seats were available, but then became progressively blocked off - I assumed they were sold.

But when I made a dummy booking some were available to buy. I found this very odd, and presumed that our exisiting booking of 3 adults in Flexi Economy somehow excluded us from buying - ie not enough ancillary revenue from us 🤷‍♂️

We actually were not interested in Skycouch, preferring Elite $AP to PE. But was just browsing around from curiosity to see how the system worked.
