So do passengers with a Ryanair boarding pass for their ex-DUB flight get refused permission to use flight connections?
No. Any boarding pass that would let you through from landside will be accepted to by the flight connections gate in T2, as long as you just scan it and get on with it. If a staff member is involved or sees a blue peril boarding pass that might get a passenger turned away. And obviously if you arrive into T1 you'll have to go landside.
