Comment is based on my personal experience out of SAN, where AS now meets virtually all of my travel needs with a nonstop flight, OW partner AA fills in all of the blanks. Organic growth of 35 nonstops to multiple Florida, Hawaii, Mexico, Northeast US, intra-California destinations, starting from a few daily flights to PDX and SEA.

It appears some would have preferred to see management double down on the failed VX strategy.
